He’s lost 7 lb so far on our diet and I’ve lost 0, which pretty
much confirms I’m exactly where I need to be and am meant to be. That’s okay
because I know that how we feel and the inches around our waist are more
important than the numbers on the scale, and I’d say I’m not doing too bad for
a 53-year-old. Plus, as he pointed out, he has 100 lbs to lose. I do not.
Going to leave my weight be and focus more on ingredients as I
have been but I’m going to be doing this even more so as it gets closer to my
next trip to the lab. My goal is to go vegan 6 days a week and focus on fruits,
veggies, beans, grains, nuts and seeds. I’ll have a little pasta here and there
and a small yogurt. Only on Sundays will I allow myself to eat meat.
