Set up house once again on Blogger and will be dropping most of my other blogs for now. I have wanted to post at just one site because managing multiple blogs is a pain. Dropping a copy of my entries into each blog isn’t a big deal, but going around and making any future edits I may want to make is a real pain. So MO, LJ, MD and OD are just going to sit there for now. I may or may not back up MD monthly since that one’s the easiest to update, and it doesn’t hurt to have a backup, though I’ll probably throw copies on Facebook in the ‘notes’ section.

I really like Blogger’s features. The blog search works, I can add graphics, customize backgrounds, and more. I no longer have to drop my visitor code in each and every entry like I had to on MO, and I love the neat little archive to the right. I don’t like how I have to enter captcha codes after so many posts, but so be it for a while cuz I intend to store old entries there as well. I’ll try to back up a month each day of the 26 years I’ve been journaling. So it will take almost a year, but there’s no rush. I just copy them over from LJ at my leisure.

I’m a little surprised I can’t make some of the posts private, but Blogger lets you have multiple blogs in one account. Maybe I’ll create a private blog as well as a story blog.
