Talk about bipolar energy levels! Yesterday I was horribly exhausted and in a shitty mood because of it. But I finally managed to get decent enough sleep with the hybrid. I don’t want to get too excited, though, because I had a good run the first time around with the oral mask yet that ended up being a disaster. I was a little tired and winded when I first got up because it was on the lowest pressure setting for starters. We’re slowly ramping the pressure, but this is the kind of mask that can’t handle higher pressure as well. The bigger the mask, the easier it leaks. It’s not as comfortable as the nasal mask, but it’s certainly more comfortable than the oral mask. I have a feeling that it’s going to be months, if ever, before I’m back in the nasal mask again.
I took a full clonazepam before bed, and yes, my sleep was a little fraggy, but the times I woke up were only for a minute, except for when I used the bathroom. I got two hours of much-needed deep sleep. I don’t expect to sleep as well next time around. It’s not as easy to get enough deep sleep as you age. I thought I would be a little tired today, since it usually takes two or three good sleeps to pay off a sleep debt, but I actually have pretty good energy. Maybe it was the B12 I took earlier. Still wondering if that’s messing up my stomach. My stomach is a little better than it was, but I still have some issues at times. It’s most likely connected to the B12 or my cholecystectomy.
The only thing I’m not too happy about right now is the fact that my package said it was out for delivery, but I didn’t get it. It’s some little shit carrier I’ve never heard of. Now I have to wait until Monday. There’s no excuse for the fact that the damn package has been in my state since the 29th and I’m not going to get it until the 5th.
Got some rain today but no thunder. It hasn’t been as cold either. We’ve only needed the heat four or five times so far this year.
While my new brown sugar body scrub smells divine, I can’t smell the colorful shower bombs I got. I do like the little temporary tats it came with, though. One is a heart and arrow, and the other is a tiger. I immediately thought of my Canadian buddy when I saw that.
I feel like I’m forgetting something, but I can’t think of it. For now, I’m going to spend the rest of my day/night playing around in VR and editing.
I might quit doing VZ's challenges because where they used to include beautiful rides, they’ve been sending us to the slums lately and it's getting old. I don’t want to ride through run-down cities, highways, and industrial areas. I want beautiful countrysides and quaint little villages.
