As expected, the mamo and echo were normal. The nuclear stress test is going to be the important one because that's going to show if the cholesterol is getting me or not. My guess is that it's not yet an issue. In 10 or more years from now, it may be but I think everything is going to turn out to be fine and the bulk of my fatigue lies on a combination of my thyroid, sleep issues, and possible chronic fatigue.

It's windy out there now but not a drop of rain in sight for a while. Even Sue said it's been “ridiculously dry” and gets hotter every summer. I wonder if this trend is going to continue year after year. Florida has gone through droughts before but this was before global warming started becoming so evident.

Tom said he didn't want to say anything because he didn't want to influence me but was kind of glad I opted out of going to Bingo earlier in the evening. Because of his hearing issues, he's not really fond of Bingo. Especially if people are talking and they go too fast calling out the numbers. I agree that Bicycle Bingo is more fun even if it's not like we can win a fortune. Not with 40 or fewer people playing.

The honker hasn't taken the motorcycle out yet even though it's been uncovered. He goes out a lot. I love it when he spends the bulk of the day out somewhere. His lack of motorcycling might be because he's busy catching up on seeing people he hasn't seen and doing things around the house. He and the old guy next to him were trimming the tree between their houses.

It's getting better now, but for a couple of days I had burning not when I peed but around that area and I thought, oh no, maybe I really do have a UTI. I've been using Replens so I don't know why I have this feeling every now and then. Sometimes it seems to be where I pee and other times closer to the vag. I guess it's just part of getting old. Got some cranberry juice just to be safe.

Someone recommended I look into getting a GhostBed so I checked their site out and was impressed with what they had to offer for the price. I thought it would be around 4K for a decent bed but it looks like I can get something for closer to 2K even if it's not an air bed. Surprisingly, these beds are backed by a 25-year warranty! I was hesitant at first because I still don't see how a foam bed can hold up that long but hey, if I have a problem with it sagging in a year or two all I have to do is get it replaced.

I took their little quiz and they recommended the bed that was my first choice and their second recommendation was my second choice. I think the GhostBed Luxe might be my best bet because it's for hot sleepers with a medium feel to it. I used to love really soft beds but now that I'm older and heavier, it's not good for me to go too soft. I hate firm beds, though. This one seems to provide softness while still giving you the support you need. It will still be a while before I can get it.

I don't care to add the built-in massage and I don't need the head or foot to elevate since I don't have edema and I don't read old-fashioned paper books. If I was still reading paper books then elevating my head would be nice, but I don't need those features.

I'm going to get a platform for it, a protective cover for the mattress, and a couple of sets of their Supima sheets. Kind of disappointing that the only colors they have are white or gray but they should be of good quality. I love the feel of satin but they pill like crazy. Not going to get any of their pillows. I absolutely love the pillow I have now.
