The night before last, I slept absolutely shitty and was exhausted all day yesterday.

Slept a little better last night but only a little. Fortunately, I got a little more deep sleep. I slept soundly until 11:00. At 11:00, midnight, and 1:00, I woke up for no reason. At 2:00, I had to get up and pee. Then it was on to snort and suffocate from there until I finally got up. Had a hard time falling back asleep after peeing, so I'm still pretty tired.

Like it or not, I'm going to have to elevate myself until this is (possibly) resolved or I choose to end my misery. It's either that or switch to the oral mask, and I'd say the oral has more negatives than elevation. With elevation, it's not as comfortable, and I can't sleep on my stomach. With oral, it's a pinched lip, pressure on my teeth, drool, and dryness.

The next question is which wedge pillow? The little one is a bit short lengthwise and cranks my neck, but the other one is so high and blocks the sound machines, so I would have to crank them up.

Eh, fuck it. I think I'll make yet another attempt to get used to the oral mask. After all, it took me a while to get used to the nasal mask.

Looking at the sleep curse sheet, snorts, allergies, and frags are the leaders in wake-up calls.

I'm starting to suspect that the throat tickle could be caused by raindown. The humidity building up and slowly dripping down the back of my nose would count as post-nasal drip, wouldn’t it? Post-nasal drip was one of the things listed that could cause a throat tickle.

There's more I could write about, but I'm way too tired. I don't even have the energy to shower. All I know is that I'm so fucking fed up and frustrated, hopelessly trying to fight this sleep curse off of me. I just don't see it ever being resolved.

The thought of spending the rest of my life half asleep really makes me wanna kill myself. I even thought of going this morning while he was out donating, but I just don't have the guts. Only losing him would give me those guts. That isn't just it, though, but my not wanting him to be affected by the fumes when he got home is also a concern.
