Not too thrilled with the candles I got today. I'm learning that the off-brands are usually pretty weak as far as their scents go. I couldn't even smell one of them with the warmer turned up high. That would be the Rosemary one that didn't come with the Rosemary seeds it was supposed to come with.
I thought I ordered the peanut butter candle, but not yet. I grabbed the hot chocolate one instead, and that one I can smell on the warmer, though not too strongly.
I also learned something about the warmer that isn't too thrilling. Yes, it's great for bringing out those weaker scents in most cases, but the wax doesn't dissipate like when you burn a candle with a flame. You have to pour off melted wax pools as they lose their scent. This makes sense when I think about it because the wax cube warmers work the same way. The wax doesn't evaporate, just the smell after a while. So I'm going to burn what I can smell and warm what I can't smell with a flame.
Tom went to bed with a bad belly, so hopefully he's doing better since he hasn't come running out of the room to puke. Other than my sleep being a little fragmented and that stupid throat tickle that is sometimes more noticeable than not, I've got fairly good energy. Not quite as much as last night, but good enough to function.
What am I going to do if my ultrasound comes back negative? I mean, that would be great, but that wouldn't tell me what's causing the tickle. Something's gotta be causing it. It seems a bit much for allergies or due to the sprays but definitely not cancer because I'm not losing weight. Further testing might be necessary. Research says ultrasounds can't see everything in that area. If it's something in the lyrynx, for example, it can't see that. Pretty sure it can only see the thyroid and the surrounding lymph nodes.
